Ever since I can remember South Africa has been part of my life. I worked and lived in Johannesburg for some years, and still have some family in the country.

Now I can renew my association with this lovely country. With our new venture SA Best we will help the best SA marketers and creatives to find an interim or permanent position in the Netherlands. Initially, these assignments will be remote, but possibly soon we will help people to come and live in the Netherlands.

We work together with a South African-based NS Work, a very successful recruitment platform for the creative industry. They are the basis for our service, they do all the administrative work, and are fully compliant with all legalities.

My start was in the creative industry in the Netherlands. With the best agency of that time, with the best creatives in the country.

In 1995 I became bored with Holland and decided to leave for South Africa. From here I traveled the world for about 20 years, always earning my living as a freelancer. A really super time, whilst working for lots of global agencies as well as global clients.

My drive has always been to stay within the advertising world. For me the best place to be. In 2015 I co-founded No Sweat Work in South Africa, a freelance and permanent placement and engagement platform, specifically servicing creative individuals and clients. These clients are mainly in South Africa and consist of agencies as well as regular businesses. 

And now the time has come to take this platform and therefore all the ‘South African Best talent’ to Europe. First remotely. We will begin servicing Dutch clients, but will soon expand into Europe.
